SL Companies, Inc started in April 2011 with a balance sheet of $47,000. The first industry we entered was Transportation and Logistics. We developed a strategy and applied it to the foundation company, gaining exponential growth. We later merged two other businesses with the foundation company, which spring-boarded our organization to the top of its market. As we witnessed the success of our strategy, SL Companies, Inc. has evolved and implemented our strategy across multiple industries yielding incredible results.

We acquired Cochrane Transportation and merged its operations with Simpson Logistics, Inc.
Acquired and Merged
We acquired JIT Couriers, merging its operations with Simpson Logistics, taking Simpson Logistics to the top of its market.
Entrepreneur of the Year
In 2016, Simpson Logistics won multiple awards, including FedEx Ground's Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Piedmont region. The company became very marketable and was then sold to GL Transportation.
Invested
In 2016, Simpson Logistics invested in Wright Trucking to support the growth of the organization.
Entered the Staffing Industry
In 2016, SL Companies, Inc. acquired the assets of Patriot Services, an employment agency in North Carolina focused on Light Industry and Heavy Industry staffing. This evolution produced media headlines for accomplishing the innovative move to the employment industry.
Entered Healthcare in Multiple Markets
SL Companies' entrance into healthcare was instrumental for our portfolio.
